On October 23, 2024, KVIS organized the 2nd EECi Young
Innovator Contest. The initiative was spearheaded by Mrs. Thidarat Toommakorn,
the KVIS manager, who has been a driving force behind this project's continuous
support and development. A total of 10 teams from 7 schools participated in the contest, including Princess
Chulabhorn Science High School Chonburi, Chonradsadornumrung School, Chonburi, Chonkanyanukoon
School, Chonburi, Rayongwittayakom School, Rayong, Sriyanusorn School,
Chanthaburi, Saint Louis School Chachoengsao, and Benchamaracharungsarit School,
Chachoengsao
In
evaluating the projects, expert teachers from KVIS will provide consultation, and advice,
and serve as the competition judges. The results of the project evaluations are
as follows:
🌟 The 1st place prize was
awarded to " Increasing stability of roselle
anthocyanins by using oxalic acid and citric acid for shrimp freshness
monitoring application. " from Saint Louis School, Chachoengsao.
🌟 The 2nd
place prize went to " Flavonoid from fruits peel
extraction inhibiting Xanthomonas oryzae activities " from Rayongwittayakom
School, Rayong.
🌟 Honorable mentions
were awarded to:
" Development
of Natural Rubber Foam Composites Filled with Eco-materials for use as
Oil Absorption Material " from Saint Louis
School Chachoengsao.
And " Remote sensing boat for improving water qualities
using spirogyra sp. " from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School
Chonburi.
🌟 The Best Poster
Design award was also given to " Water Qualities and
Depth Survey USV Boat " from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School
Chonburi.

would like to express its gratitude to PTT Group and Jet Jiffy Shops Co., Ltd. for
their generous support in organizing this event. This support has greatly
helped foster a sense of unity and create a positive and memorable atmosphere
for all participants. We also congratulate the winning teams and extend
encouragement to all participants in this competition. We hope that the
knowledge and experience gained will be used to develop their projects further
and pursue careers as scientists. These young innovators will grow into key
contributors, driving the nation forward and fostering sustainability for the
country's future.
