On 8-9
June, 72 students in Cohort 9 had a two-day adventure preparing to be good
leaders, working best with a team, and coordinating as an effective team.
Following were the exciting outdoor-based learning: Trust Fall: trust &
trustworthiness, Cherokee: out of comfort zone, Tarzan: self-confidence, Beam:
never give up, Figure 8 Knot: problem-solving, Raft: teamwork, Golf Run:
communication, Zip Line: take the risk, A-Frame: teams challenge, Smart Frog:
mutual respect, Bow Shooting: Aim & focus, Wall 360: together we can, and
Cargo Net: aim high and never give up.
In the
final part before saying goodbye, there was a briefing by a team of speakers on
various knowledge, ideas, and perspectives, which were interspersed in
activities for a full two days. This concludes the 2024 academic year's team
and leadership training activities beautifully and impressively.
We expect
all students who participate in this exercise will be able to apply their
knowledge, experience, and ideas to their daily lives, education, and working
with others in society.
